Bio:
Rachel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW #C016803) and received her Master’s in Social Work from The Ohio State University. Rachel has had prior experience working in a variety of private practice and community-based settings. She is Restoration Therapy level 1 certified as well as a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator. She has also previously worked at a domestic violence shelter where she supported individuals and families work toward healing and combat cycles of abuse.

Counseling Approach:
Rachel believes the counseling process begins with each person feeling understood and genuinely cared for. It’s from that foundation that she works to facilitate change and healing into people’s lives. Because each situation is unique, Rachel’s counseling style is eclectic and often draws from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Restoration Therapy. Overall, Rachel strives to help others build the insight and skills needed to prosper both emotionally and relationally.

Specialties & Population Served:
Rachel enjoys seeing adolescents, adults, and couples. She has experience with a variety of issues, such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and past trauma or painful events. For those who wish, Rachel also welcomes the opportunity to help people incorporate their faith into their journey.
