Our office offers a benefit to clients of filing insurance claims, however payment including insurance payments is the responsibility of the client and not that of the therapist. Information provided below is ONLY to provide you an idea of anticipated expense.

Service and Other Fees: (These may vary depending on *insurance credentialing, etc)

• Initial Appointment Assessment and Evaluation: $150-200 (average amount towards the deductible set by insurance unless a copay applies)
• Counseling Appointment: $120-180 (average amount towards the deductible set by insurance unless a copay applies)

Non Insurance Billing Options:

• Self Pay: $155 (Only for those who have NO insurance)
• Group Counseling: Registration Fee: $50 (non-refundable) $50-100 per session (Varies by session/group)
• Paperwork: Letters you would like us to write, Email communication (not about appointment times/scheduling), forms, etc. $150 per letter/email.
• Late Cancel/No show fee: $75 if no notice was given 24 hours in advance. Three late cancelation/no show in 12 months may result in inability to schedule future appointments.
• Parent Consultation: If you are a parent and want to speak to the counselor regarding your minor child, you may ask to schedule a 30 minute consult for a fee of $200. At times, therapist may offer a ten minute update within the child’s session, but be prepared to schedule a 30 minute consult if deemed necessary by the therapist.

Court Fees: Please review if you are going through any custody or other legal concerns

• We abide by privileged communication laws and therefore will NOT disclose confidential information outside of ethical guidelines. Also, we will only submit documents or appear in court if order by a judge ONLY.
• We will not choose sides in cases, so you are advised NOT to choose counseling as a means to gain any type of support of advantage in court (especially in custody cases).
• If we are called to court, we will bill at the rate of $1500 per day.
• Paperwork, Communication with attorneys, etc. will be billed at $155 per letter/email/contact.

• NC State Plan/BCBS
• Magellan
• Tricare
• Some EAP programs
• Cigna

If using insurance, please contact your insurance provider to verify whether your therapist is an in-network or out-of-network provider. Also, please verify your copay amount and whether or not your deductible applies.

A sliding scale fee may be offered as needed on a case-by-case basis.
