Bio:
Lyndsey received her master's degree in Christian Counseling with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (#A18444), and a National Certified Counselor (#1723588). In addition, she received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2018. Lyndsey is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Counseling Association, and the Association for Play Therapy.
Counseling Approach:
Her therapeutic approach begins from a client-centered perspective, as she truly believes that the relationship between client and counselor is a very important factor for client growth. In addition, Lyndsey pulls from a variety of treatment modalities to best meet each client's individual needs such as Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Systems, and personality theories. Her aim is to provide a safe and supportive space for all clients where they can build a strong therapeutic relationship, and work collaboratively to achieve each individual client's goals.

School aged-adult; anxiety, depression, self-image, grief and loss, parenting, life transitions, trauma, relational conflict, Christian/faith-based counseling (upon request), and more.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading, being outdoors, a good cup of coffee, and all things history.
