Bio:
Kailee received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work from Baylor University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (#C018343). Kailee has experience working with survivors of domestic violence, individuals facing homelessness, and also has experience working in the school-based setting.

Counseling Approach:
Kailee prioritizes a person-centered approach, and understands the importance of building trust and connection in order to form a therapeutic relationship. She believes that every person deserves a safe space to work toward healing, and seeks to empower individuals with the space and tools needed for growth and healing to happen. Kailee also recognizes the importance of a trauma-informed approach when engaging with clients, and believes that each client is the expert of their own life.

Kailee believes in an eclectic approach, utilizing aspects of different evidence-based therapeutic interventions based on the unique needs and personality of each client. Some specific interventions that Kailee uses include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, Solution-Focused, and Strengths-Based approaches.

Specialties & Population Served:
Kailee works with children, adolescents, and young adults. She primarily works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, challenging situational circumstances, relational difficulties, behavioral struggles, and suicidal ideation.

Fun Fact:
In her free time, Kailee enjoys spending time outside with her husband and dog, reading, caring for her (over 50!) plants, yoga, and quality time with friends and family (preferably at a coffee shop!).
