Bio:
Brittany is a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS). She received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her Master’s in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. She has provided services to clients with substance use and co-occurring disorders such as depression, bi-polar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and intellectual/developmental disabilities . She has experience working adults, families, and youth who are involved in the criminal justice system.

Counseling Approach:
Brittany understands that therapy can be an overwhelming and intimidating process. Through person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing, she hopes to build a strong therapeutic relationship and create an opportunity for success. She believes in generating a non-threatening, positive, and collaborative healing environment where clients can work on their individualized goals.

Brittany is passionate about working with individuals, couples, and groups who struggle with substance use and addiction. She also enjoys working with clients on managing relationships, general life transitions, anger, depression, anxiety, and stress.

Fun Fact:
Brittany loves travel with her family. When she is not spending time with loved ones, she enjoys event planning, designing creative balloon art, and making sweet treats.
