Sandra’s experience has involved working with children and adolescents with ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, anxiety, trauma, social skills, self-esteem, self-harm behaviors, anger, and peer relationships. Sandra uses multiple theories when working with children and adolescents, cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and reality therapy. Each person responds to therapy differently, using multiple theories helps Sandra assist each client individually. Sandra enjoys building a safe, trusting relationship with her clients to help make the therapeutic experience a beneficial one.
Sandra applies her learning and experience equally to help her clients be successful socially and emotionally. Every child and adolescent needs a person who will advocate for their needs and have their interests at heart and Sandra would like to be that person for you or your child/adolescent.
When Sandra is not working, she enjoys spending time with her 3 children going hiking, to the movies, shopping, spending time at the beach, and of course eating.
